La Creu is named after the vineyard planted with Sauvignon Blanc at the heart of the Can Bas wine estate since 1994.
It is a full-bodied, rich wine, with pronounced aromatic nuances. A wine that expresses the characteristics and the honesty of the terroir from which it comes. The grapes in La Creu are partially fermented separately in French oak barrels.
La Creu is lustrous gold in colour, with some natural green and ochre highlights. The bouquet features tropical notes (passion fruit, mango) combined with sweet Mediterranean fruit (nectarine and apricot). Hints of toast from the new oak. In the mouth it is sweet, fresh and unctuous, defining the fruit notes in the bouquet.
An ideal wine to accompany risotto, spiced vegetables, baked or griddled fish or Catalan-style poularde, well-cooked in white wine with a fresh grape cream sauce.
Recommended serving temperature 10ºC.
